A new level of engagement and fun while learning
Not only do the 18 activities and 49 games look great and invite learners to come and play, they also allow students and home learners to continually improve against their own best score and against friends on a local, national and international level. By posting scores to a ranked leaderboard our resources encourage a "one more go" mentality amongst users who return to the resource time and time again to do better.
They may be doing it in order to improve their global ranking, but they are also constantly improving their skills and knowledge in the process.
Administration Area
Content that is self-contained and easy to use
Our resources are designed by teachers and subject matter experts, and they all come with teacher notes, supporting worksheets and detailed lesson plans to help prepare teachers, students and home learners for the challenges ahead.
This process helps ease the workload of the overstretched teacher - not only can you guarantee that your students will receive all of the necessary support and practice required in order to successfully complete a task, their work will also be marked for you! This will allow you the vital time needed to identify problem areas for individual students and offer the personalised response they deserve, ensuring that everyone in your class reaches their full potential.
Consistency
We strive to ensure that all of our resources are consistent in quality, design, features and requirements so that parents, students and teachers know exactly what to expect. Each resource offers the same seamless, high quality experience irrespective of the medium you use to deliver it (including mobile devices).
Replayability
All of the questions and the data within our activities are randomly generated within sensible parameters, so no two activity screens are ever the same. This means that students and home learners can continuously improve their abilities with repeat play without memorising answers – and without copying the person next to them!
Engaging case studies
We don't have scenarios like "Jane has 2 apples". What we have is scenarios like "Save the human race from extinction" or "Make a theme park the most successful attraction in the country". This helps students feel that their learning has a purpose. How many times have you heard "Why do I need to know this? When will I ever use it?" Well now you have the answer!
Leaderboards
All of our resources contain ranked leaderboards to encourage repeat play and friendly rivalry between learners. General location and nationality are also displayed on the leaderboards to encourage regional and even international competition. These leaderboards can be totally anonymous using randomised usernames, or they can display a learner's name in lights for the world to see – whatever the school or parent is most comfortable with.
Facebook integration
Students can post their high scores to their Facebook profiles for all of their friends to see - and respond by posting higher scores of their own!
Games
As well as the resources themselves, we also have a Games section where learners can quickly improve specific key kills before they attempt a resource. These Games also feature leaderboards to encourage repeat play and friendly rivalry.
Performance monitoring
Teachers can view student results by student or by resource, ensuring that no student is left behind and that individual problem areas are identified for further work. This feature also enables a teacher to see whether last night's homework was completed or not – and what score was achieved by the student.
Resource activities
Teams
Our resources can also be completed by students in teams. Teams such as "Mr Smith's Class, 2012" or "Brainiacs" can complete the resources on the classroom interactive white board. Teachers can also set up competing teams to encourage team-based rivalry.

An account with Learnalot provides access to an ever-growing library of resources to ensure that students are constantly presented with new challenges and new ways to test existing skills.
