A closer look at our activities

We currently have 18 activities across 6 resources and 49 games. Each activity takes between 40 and 60 minutes to complete with each covering a different area of the curriculum in different ways. This number is constantly growing.

Here's a list of our current resources complete with further information on their educational content:

Adventure World | Educational Content

As one of the country's leading managerial talents, you have recently accepted a new role at Adventure World. The park has been the victim of poor management for the last decade and is suffering as a result. Visitor numbers and investment are both plummeting and you have been asked to reverse the situation and once again turn Adventure World into the country's leading attractions.

Your tasks will include analysing data from the last 10 years to see where it's all gone wrong and comparing the park's situation with that of the current market leader to see what can be learned from there. You'll also need to buy a new ride for the park to attract desperately-needed thrill-seekers, but with a tight budget you'll have to find the most cost-effective option. You'll then need to decide on where to put the ride, bearing in mind the park's policy on ensuring that no queue is ever more than 1 hour long. Finally you'll take a trip into one of your arcades and make sure that the different machines are offering enough incentive to keep players interested without costing the park any money.

Britain's Got Power | Educational Content

As the UK's new head of The Department of Energy and Climate Change (DECC), it's your job to make sure that the UK's energy needs are met in the future in ways that meet the renewable target by 2020.

Reporting directly to the Prime Minister, you will look at suitable possible solutions and gauge public opinion from different parts of the country. You will also divide a given budget among several different renewable technologies and look at different schemes with which to raise the required capital. Finally, you will decide on the locations on which to build the required infrastructure.

Cops and Robbers | Educational Content

As a successful and well-respected Detective Inspector, it's your job to lead the man-hunt for four fugitives who have recently escaped from the city prison.

By investigating sightings, examining crime scene evidence and deciphering coded tip-offs from frightened members of the public, secure the recapture of these individuals before they commit any further offences.

Ghost Hunter Academy | Educational Content

As Ghost Hunter Academy's latest recruit you must prove your worth to the organisation by sneaking unseen into a haunted house and catching as many ghosts as you can. You must then escape from the house before the remaining ghosts realise what's happened and form an angry mob.

You will be accompanied by two of the Academy's leading Ghost Hunters - Thomas Shabha and Oliver Bailey - but as part of your training you alone will be responsible for the success of this hunt!

Going for Gold | Educational Content

As an elite dietitian and trainer, it's your job to get 16 year old Graham Jacobs to the pinnacle of fitness so that he can achieve a sub-10 second time at the 100m sprint. He's already shown promise by running a time of 11.89 seconds at his school sports event, but his unhealthy diet and inactive lifestyle are preventing him from advancing any further.

As his dietitian and trainer, you will study Graham's current diet and create an ideal day's menu based on his needs and his current weight. You will also create a workout schedule for him comprising of running, cycling, weight-lifting and jogging. Finally, you will analyse the performance data to see how Graham is performing in each of his tasks.

Settlers | Educational Content

In Settlers, Earth's days are numbered as a giant asteroid is due to strike the planet in 12 months' time. As the ESA's leading scientist, you are asked to ensure the survival of the species by completing three separate activities that will lead to the creation of a colony on Mars.

Working closely with an ESA colleague, you will establish the amount of resources required to construct the ship and to take with you to build a base on Mars. You will then buy these resources from different countries around the world in order to get the best deals. Finally, you will plot the locations of mines and wells on the red planet's surface to ensure the sustainability of the colony.

There are many more on the way!

We have many more resources planned for release over the coming months, including ones based on formula 1 racing, a clothing boutique and a zoo among others!
